🔋 Optimal Battery Health for Linux Desktops
Lithium-ion batteries are sensitive to extremes of charge and discharge. To maximize their lifespan, experts generally recommend avoiding a full 100% charge and keeping the discharge level above 20%. While most Linux desktop environments provide a notification for a predefined low battery threshold, they typically lack an alert for full or high charge levels. I wanted a system that notifies me when the charge exceeds 90% and when it drops below 25%. I've written a script to achieve this.
