I've been searching for a fast and affordable external backup storage solution for a while, and I finally found one. While TVS Electronics is widely celebrated for its iconic TVS Gold mechanical keyboards, their Champ series often flies under the radar. Interestingly, my search for a comfortable chicklet-style wireless keyboard led me to uncover this gem. The TVS Champ Elite wireless keyboard and mouse combo has been a fantastic find, and I'm really pleased with its performance.

 

It's a drag when an older laptop's slow HDD grinds your workflow to a halt, right? My Lenovo ThinkPad was definitely in that boat. I was itching for the speed of an SSD without sacrificing the data on my original HDD. Luckily, my research uncovered a neat trick: the WWAN slot, usually for a 4G LTE module, can actually double as a SATA SSD slot on this model. So, I snagged an M.2 2242 SATA SSD, popped it in, and boom – it worked like a charm! Now, I've got my blazing-fast Fedora install on the SSD and my trusty Ubuntu setup still accessible on the original HDD. This dual-boot combo is working out perfectly!
